Born Free Cycles is an independent Harley-Davidson and American V-Twin performance shop serving the Los Angeles riding community since 2011. Founded by Alex Lopez, a Harley-Davidson–certified technician and former dealership Service Manager, the shop was built with a clear goal: deliver dealership-level technical expertise in a more personal, rider-focused environment.

Co-owner Karri Lopez brings additional industry experience from motorcycle sales and finance, helping shape the customer experience from the first conversation through final delivery. Together, they created Born Free Cycles to be a place where riders receive honest guidance, high-quality workmanship, and real enthusiasm for the machines they ride.

Over the years, Born Free Cycles has grown into a dedicated team of experienced technicians and support staff who share the same commitment to precision, safety, and performance. Our technicians bring decades of combined hands-on experience working on Harley-Davidson and American V-Twin motorcycles—from routine service to complex diagnostics, performance upgrades, and full custom builds. Every motorcycle that comes through our shop benefits from that collective knowledge and attention to detail.
