Parts Associate - FullTime

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 HRLY +Commission

​***Read First***NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED BUT SOME  PART KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED AND ALL QUALIFICATIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS MUST BE MET!!!!


We are looking to bring on board a FullTime Parts Associate who will work closely with our Service Writers and Technicians along with assisting customers.  This person must have some knowledge of Harley-Davidson parts but counter experience is not required.  Knowledge of ebay a plus.   


Summary Description

  • Assist customers with parts questions at counter, by phone and internet

  • Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation

  • Maintains a record of special order parts status

  • Promptly meets and greets service customers in a friendly and courteous manner

  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously and makes every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry

  • Maintains accurate sales documentation

  • Manages Ebay and online parts sales 

  • Maintains a high level of grooming and uniform appearance


Qualifications​

  • General understanding Harley-Davidson Products

  • Ability to use computer researching tools

  • Dependable, organized, positive attitude and self-motivated.

  • Experience working in a motorcycle repair facility preferred.

  • Proficient in meeting deadlines on a timely manner.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and relationship with all other employees.


Physical Demands

  • May be required to drive long distances.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

  • Requires the use of both hands.

  • Frequently required to bend, stop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift 50lbs of material.

  • Frequently climb ladders and stairs.

  • Requires the ability to balance and push a 600+lb motorcycle.


Working Conditions

  • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

  • Potential exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.

  • Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.


Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday. Some nights and Monday's may be required, but very rare.
